Checklist based cyber security approach for SME’s before they release open their networks, or release applications exposed to the internet. This session will touch on a number of areas that would discuss problematic situations, and practical solutions targeted at small to medium businesses without involving expensive solutions. Sub-topics shall include how to be security-aware from design stages, to ensure secure code throughout the SDLC, before going live preparations, infrastructure preparations along with segregations necessary between corporate and production environments, and last but not the least current initiatives that would help your business with general cyber hygiene.
Harman Singh is a security consultant at Defendza who carries more than 10 years of professional experience in varying areas of cyber security across the banking, retail, gambling, local govts, healthcare and ecommerce. His expertise lies in infrastructure, web, mobile and device security areas. Harman Singh was also a security class trainer at Black Hat USA 2015.
